Masked Contacts allows you to mask the contacts in your iPhone Contacts application and to preserve them from malicious people. Briefly, you can: - mask/unmask your contacts - create/remove masks - enable/disable a password - enable/disable a fake password - change the password/fake password - dial directly from the mask list - dial and send ams directly from the contact detail view. Thanks to Masked Contacts you can create masks (fake names and surnames) that can be associated to the contacts in Contacts application. After that you can choose whether to apply the masks to the contacts. Everytime you enable a mask, the name and surname of the associated contact are replaced with the fake name and surname defined by the mask. Changes are visible in call list, sms headers and contacts application. So, if you receive a call or an sms the fake name and surname are displayed on your iPhone. Everytime you disable a mask, the original name and surname are restored. In the mask list, a status icon close to every mask tells you if that mask has been applied to contact or not. In the settings section you can enable a password and a fake password. The password allows you to protect your data from undesired access to the application. The fake password allows you to preserve the real password; indeed, if a user access to the application providing the fake password, he or she has the full functionality of the application at his or her disposal without having access to your data. All changes made in fake password access mode are not saved when closing the application. Default values for password and fake password are, respectively, 00000 and 11111.
